Outage Center

*Please be advised that this outage map may not reflect exact numbers or precise outage areas. Electric and gas services are monitored around the clock through interconnected meters so that we’re often aware of interruptions before you are, and are already dispatching crews to restore service.  MGED prioritizes reliability, on-going maintenance and improvements for greater resiliency in a large and challenging service territory.

In case of an emergency (life-threatening situation, downed line, or imminent danger) please call 911 or (508) 947-3023 immediately.

Current Outage Updates:

There are no outages to report at this time. We’re monitoring the forecast as it relates to Hurricane Lee, which is expected to affect the Middleborough and Lakeville area this Friday night through early Sunday. Lee could bring winds in the 60-80mph range, resulting in tree damage and possible outages. If you experience a power outage, please report it online at www.mged.com/outages or call 508-947-3023 and remember, always assume downed wires are LIVE and stay as far away as possible.

Stay Safe

Remember, always stay as far from downed lines as possible; even lines that appear "dead" can be deadly.

For a natural gas emergency or if you smell a natural gas odor, leave the area and call 911 for a response during the storm recovery.
