To start your gas or electric service in person, call us at 508-947-1371 or drop by our office at 32 South Main St., Middleborough. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., but closed on holidays. Use the forms below and provide your Social Security number and a driver's license or photo i.d. You can also follow the instructions on the form to mail, fax or email your request at your convenience.
Buying a home? Please sign up at least three working days before the closing so that we can create a final bill for the seller.
Renting a home? We’ll need at least one day's notice before you would like your service to start. In most instances, service can start within 24 hours.
No security deposits required! However, if you have an outstanding balance from another MGED account, you must make arrangements to pay that balance before new service is started.
