Talent and smiles were on display at the Henry B. Burkland and the Mary K. Goode elementary schools as well as the John T. Nichols Middle school on Thursday when the winners of the MGED Solar Community Image contest were recognized by school officials and their cheering classmates. These impressive artists will be awarded their prizes (Amazon gift cards) at the next MGED Commission meeting in two weeks and the grand prize image will be imprinted on tote bags which will be given to all customers who enroll in the Solar Community (shared solar) projects. MGED salutes all of our imaginative and enthusiastic students who entered to help us spread the news about MGED Solar Community!
